The UCSD Undergraduate Scholarship Council works to generate awareness of scholarship need and sponsorship from the community. The Council provides community leaders and alumni with opportunities to support academically outstanding students through scholarship donations, fundraising, selection, and mentoring. They work actively with UCSD Student Affairs to create more scholarships for the many deserving students at UCSD.

The Undergraduate Scholarship Council’s goals and objectives include increasing the current endowment, increasing annual scholarship awards, promoting UCSD and its students on campus and in the community, and increasing interaction of the committee and community members with students.
