Private support, in addition to partnerships with the business community and service organizations, provide us with important assistance in building the leaders of tomorrow.  Career and volunteer activities and leadership training provide tools that students will use in their communities long after they graduate from UCSD.

• SAGE Scholars
  The SAGE (Student Achievement Guided by Experience) Scholars program is a partnership with corporate sponsors who invest in their interns through a scholarship donation as well as a meaningful, paid internship so students can gain valuable career and leadership skills.
• Leadership, Engagement, Activism & Development (LEAD) Center
  At the LEAD Center students are immersed in service learning and leadership activities across the greater San Diego community.  Students sharpen their leadership, personal and communication skills and experience the rewards of community service, beginning a lifetime of engaged citizenship.

  Support for career development and internships offers our students a competitive edge in the workplace the Career Services Center provides a range of services to help students embark on their careers.
