Supporting Intercollegiate Athletics

From water polo to basketball and from soccer to tennis, UC San Diego Athletics fosters a longstanding tradition of victory, boasting 29 national championships, 110 individual national championships and more than 900 Tritons named All-Americans.

But the success of our Division II program is dependent on support from community leaders, alumni and fans who help ensure that our dedicated student-athletes are given the best Triton experience possible with resources and facilities to match their remarkable accomplishments.

You may champion your favorite team with a gift to the individual sport of your choice, help us upgrade our Triton facilities or support Athletics’ greatest needs by clicking here to give now. Personally named Athletics endowments may also be created by contacting Diana Philippi at dphilippi@ucsd.edu or (858) 534-3540. In addition, some of our most pressing fundraising priorities are outlined below:

Help us bring a track and field scoreboard and timing system to campus for our talented student-athletes. The scoreboard will be placed in memory of Shannon Quigley Runningbear '91. The university's record-holder for the discus throw, Runningbear strongly advocated for the Tritons, as well as the construction of RIMAC. To learn more, click here.

Support much-needed upgrades, including lights, to the Triton baseball park that will ultimately enable the team to host championships.

Meet Gigi and Shale Imeson, who along with other committed Triton parents, are helping to upgrade our athletics facilities.
