Pass It On... Alumni Scholarship Opportunities

UC San Diego opened your eyes, fed your brain, touched your heart and inspired you to pursue the mission every UCSD alum shares: to break new ground, shape the future and make the world a better place.

Now you can acknowledge the gift by passing it on to the talented, dynamic, pioneering young person right behind you. Through our alumni scholarship program, your support can make a big difference to someone who sees our alma mater as the first stop in a lifetime of discoveries.

As an alum, you can create an undergraduate scholarship endowment with a commitment of a $6,000 gift each year for five years to total $30,000. At the end of five years, your giving will have created an endowed scholarship fund—a permanent named scholarship that will continue to "pass it on" to students forever. The fund will allow UC San Diego to award a scholarship in your name (or a name of your choice) to a deserving student who might not otherwise have an opportunity to attend college.
