Research Scholarships
The opportunity to work with leading researchers who have made an impact locally, nationally and even globally is a key reason many students choose to attend UC San Diego. However, many undergraduate students must work to support their educational endeavors, leaving little time to pursue such unpaid research activities.
Research scholarships put such studies within reach of bright students, as they seek to learn about, and contribute to, the university's cutting edge research and advancements.
The Chancellor's Research Scholarship Fund provides valuable resources to students interested in research activities which may some day lead to discoveries ranging from the cure for cancer to important social breakthroughs.
